and advice in developing key business and standards direction
and processes. The management team works with these boards
to broaden the corporate knowledge base in these key areas,
and to identify effective strategies in each.
Advisory Council Members:
Bob Anderson - Director of Technology Transfer
and Intellectual Property at Illinois Institute of Technology,
Vice President of Performance and Productivity at UOP, LLC,
Bob is currently responsible for commercialization of new
ideas and ventures. He is President of Robert F. Anderson
and Associates, helping organizations in achieving untapped
potential.
Frank Brletich - President, Strategic Management
Centre of Chicago, Corporate executive at telecommunication
companies including Telular and Sphere Communications, MBA
from Harvard University.
Holly F. Kerr - Adjunct Professor of Marketing
at Lake Forrest Business School, MBA from Harvard University.
Standards Council Members:
Taz Daughtery - Taz Daughtery is editor-in-chief
of Software Quality
Professional, ASQ's peer-reviewed quarterly journal. He is
currently a visiting scientist at the Software Engineering
Institute and a member of the computer science department
faculty at James Madison University. His previous work as
a scientific programmer, programming supervisor, and software
quality engineer focused on software-based systems in highly
regulated environments.
Daughtery has been involved in the development of software
quality and engineering standards under the sponsorship of
various professional societies since 1984 and is published
extensively. He has been a consultant to national laboratories,
the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the Canadian government,
and the Japanese Space Agency.
Thomas McNellis - Thomas McNellis serves
as Director of Operations for the Association for e-Business
Research, a research-based consulting firm that focuses on
cutting-edge e-Business best practices. Recognized as an international
trainer in the fields of project management, e-Business and
quality, McNellis is a well-known advisor to corporate leaders
who want to bridge the gaps between e-project management,
e-Business, and e-quality. He also serves as Director of Training
for the Customer Relationship Management Institute. He has
written numerous articles and books on project management
and e-Business.
Phil Armour - Founder of Corvus International,
Master Instructor for Software Engineering at Motorola University,
adjunct faculty member at Lake Forrest Graduate School of
Management, author of a column entitled “The Business
of Software” in the IEEE/ACM’s flagship periodical
“Communications of the ACM,” and author of the
book “The Fifth Medium: The Coming Revelation and Revolution
in Software.”
